To celebrate the first anniversary of its shop in Ibiza, Maje has designed a limited edition limited capsule collection. Between land and sea, an ode to the Mediterranean; off the beaten path. The Spanish design studio, Cobalto Studio, has assisted in the artistic direction of this dream getaway to a southern island.
To get dressed in Ibiza, which is beyond time and space, Maje has sought inspiration from its experience: reworked crochet dresses as well as delicate, colorful embroidery. The collection’s colors evoke a joyful, empowered femininity.
A limited edition design:
The M basket, the iconic accessory in this collection, has been customized by Mar Del Hoyo and her ceramic shell sculptures.

She will also work on a very small ceramic jewelry collection: bracelet and earrings.

Ibiza
Maje has left Cobalto Studio complete freedom in its artistic direction.
In addition to the set design of the pop-up shop within the Ibiza shop, Gabriel Escámez, the founder of Cobalto Studio, has linked up with various Spanish artists to reinterpret local traditions. Marta uses ceramics as a medium for the stage set of the shop.
Carolina will create the floral atmosphere of the pop-up. Alba takes pictures of the whole adventure, out in the countryside. And Mar adds her marine-inspired touches to Maje’s M basket.

MAR DEL HOYO
Jewelry designer
Mar del Hoyo is a Spanish actress who, after a 15-year career, found a new way of materializing her creativity on a trip around Cote d’Azur (France). Upon returning home after this experience, she began to investigate the application of ceramics in jewelry. Sometime later and honoring Levens, the town where she made her first ceramic earrings and that somehow changed the course of her life, Levens Jewels was born.
MARTA BONILLA
Ceramicist
At the time I started with ceramics, I felt a need to make objects with my hands, I was very curious about the material and imagined the pieces that I would like to have at home. Art has always interested me, since I was very young at school and always in my day to day.
CAROLINA SPENCER
Floral designer
Carolina Spencer loves to provide objects with energy that transmit a certain value or story, often even transmitting a bit of herself. The Barcelona-based, Chilean floral designer behind Matagalán works with flower arrangements in a very unique way. By combining plants, flowers and vases designed by her, she creates compositions that can be considered closer to art pieces than to anything else. Since 2013, Matagalán believes in creative, playful and collaborative work, where art and design are always present, focusing on floral and sculptural elements to create new spaces and dimensions.
Alba Yruela

Her practice focuses around the female form, sexuality, friendship and love in a pure, intimate and sincere manner.
